Who We Are

Our Story

Badass Babes originated as a response, to a collective yearning for authentic, empowering connections among professional women. In 2021, amidst a world filled with endless zoom calls, bullshit meetings, and rigid business interactions, I saw a gap. There were countless remarkable women around me, contributing, innovating, and leading in their respective fields, yet there wasn’t a collective space for us to connect.
Many business conversations for men have found their way to relaxed settings like golf courses, giving them a unique space to mingle and forge deals. Women, however, have often found themselves without a similar space to foster such intimate connections that lead to limitless opportunities. This realization led to the inception of Badass Babes.
'Badass Babes' provides women with a dedicated environment where they can nurture meaningful relationships, initiate pivotal deals, and elevate each other in the professional realm. It's more than just an event; it's a shift towards leveling the playing field.
Our humble beginnings were in my living room and around my kitchen island, where conversations flowed more freely than in any boardroom. Where we found common ground through shared interests, life stories, and business prospects. It started as a passion project, fueled by my love for bringing people together and for cooking. It wasn’t about the perfect party; it was about the perfect synergy of powerful women. Today, drawing from that same drive and spirit, we are thrilled to embark on a new chapter. While the spirit of Badass Babes remains the same, the scale and vision have expanded. I’m excited to announce that as of 2023 our initiative is now powered by BoardBe.
Each year, BoardBe proudly positions several of our remarkable badasses onto boards they collaborate with. This alignment is more than strategic; it’s heartfelt. BoardBe champions the profound impact of genuine connections.  Our Board Mentorship Program, designed with purpose, bridges our rising board enthusiasts with experienced board members and impactful leaders, setting the stage for growth and collaboration.
The essence of Badass Babes is not just to provide a platform for women but to empower them to carve out spaces for themselves. Just as deals are struck on golf courses, connections are forged here, collaborations are born, and the future is shaped.

Our Advisory Board

The Badass Babes Advisory Board is a diverse group of professional women. They serve as a critical sounding board, ensuring we stay true to our mission and values. Beyond providing guidance, they are instrumental in screening and identifying the new wave of ‘badasses,’ guaranteeing that every member embodies the spirit and tenacity that Badass Babes represents. In essence, they are our compass, keeping us on course and pushing us towards greater horizons.
